NYC Local Law 47: Absentee Landlords - Tax
Surcharge/UPDATE

Please refer to last bulletin dated 10/10/03 regarding
Local Law 47.
Local Law 47 provides for various exclusions from the
surcharge. However, to obtain an exclusion, the City
requires that the property owner file an Application
To Be Excluded From the Absentee Landlord Surcharge
with City. A copy of the Application is attached. It
is self-explanatory regarding both the application
procedure and the available exclusions
